Meat Clerk – Part Time

Duties/Responsibilities:

·       Make sausage
·       Pull and fill meat counter ensuring the department is well stocked and presentable
·       Wrap various cuts of meat, label and package them in trays using packaging equipment
·       Fill and rotate packaged meats
·       Clean smoker room and equipment

·       Fill and maintain service case, including serving, wrapping, pricing items for customers

·       Be aware of weekly and monthly department promotions
·       Share product knowledge with customers and answer customer questions
·       Observe sanitation practices and procedures to prevent contamination
·       Clean equipment and work area to ensure a safe and sanitary work environment
·       Keep workspace clear of debris and clear of clutter
Qualifications:

·       Mature

·       Work independently

·       Safety Orientated

·       Excellent Customer Service

·       Interested in learning and growing skills

·       Available to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends

·       Team player

·       Experience is an asset but not required; Training will be provided
