Dairy Supervisor

 

As Dairy Supervisor you will be responsible for ensuring our dairy department is stocked with a variety of products and goods while providing exceptional Customer Service.

 

Duties/Responsibilities:

Supervise and delegate tasks to Grocery staff and ensure all necessary breaks are given
Work with Training Supervisor to train staff in a manner that builds and sustains a high-performance team and minimizes turnover
Communicate team concerns to the Manager and Assistant Grocery Manager
Oversee and build displays in line with weekly and monthly sales
Order products from multiple vendors, and monitor product quality
Review incoming orders and ensure accuracy and correct pricing
Work with File Maintenance to ensure new products are entered in the system and sale tags available for all products
Interact with customers to answer questions and identify new products to bring in
Keep all cases and shelves clean, well-stocked and properly rotated
Maintain department cleanliness including store floor and back warehouse
Open and close department according to established procedures
Assisting in Grocery and Freezer as needed
Maintain proper procedures are followed concerning Health and Safety Policies by all staff
Qualifications:

·       Excellent Customer Service

·       Strong communication and organizational skills

·       High school education preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience

·       Available to work varying shifts

·       1 year retail experience an asset

 

Terms of Employment: Full-Time

 

Wage: Starting at $18/hour, to be negotiated on experience
