Invites applications for the position of:

Helpdesk Technician (1.0 FTE)

Under the direction of the Manager of Information Technology, the Helpdesk Technician is responsible for maintaining the Information Technology Departments ticketing system and providing technical support to board staff and students. Participate, maintain, and support specific technologies and/or projects as assigned by the supervisor.

The preferred candidate will possess a certificate or college diploma in the field of IT/IM and/or two years equivalent work experience in the field of Information Technology. Proven working experience in technical support. Excellent problem solving and analytical skills. Strong verbal and communication skills. Proven ability to work well within a team environment. Proven ability to work within a centralized service environment.

The successful applicant will be required to provide a Vulnerable Sector Screening document satisfactory to the Board.
