We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Baker. Duties

Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including beef/chicken pies, cakes, pastries, puff puff, egg roll, buns, croissants, and bread
Decorate cakes and desserts with creative designs using various decorating techniques
Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, mixing, and assembling ingredients
Ensure all food handling and safety standards are strictly followed
Package baked goods for retail or catering orders with attention to presentation and quality
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and work areas
Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with product selections and answering questions
Follow recipes accurately and adapt to special dietary requirements when needed
Support the team during busy hours by managing multiple tasks efficiently
Experience

Previous experience in cake decorating or bakery is highly preferred
Restaurant or food service experience is advantageous
Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures
Experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen operations within the food industry

Experience in baking African snacks (spring roll, samosa, chicken/beef pies, agege bread,etc) will be an added advantage

Familiarity with baking techniques and food packaging processes
Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards
