About the Position
Nor-Fab Homes is looking for a reliable and hardworking Carpenter/Handyman to join our team in Thunder Bay, ON.
This is a permanent part-time position offering approximately 10–20 hours per week, with a flexible schedule. The successful candidate will assist with modular home projects, finishing work, repairs, installations, maintenance, and general construction tasks.
Responsibilities
- Perform general carpentry and handyman work
- Assist with modular home finishing and repairs
- Install trim, doors, windows, and hardware
- Perform minor renovations and maintenance
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work independently as well as part of a team
- Assist with general construction and installation tasks as required
Requirements
- Previous carpentry or handyman experience preferred
- Experience using construction tools and equipment
- Valid driver’s licence is an asset
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Able to lift materials and perform physical work
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
