Casual Childcare Worker

Little George’s Child Care Centre is currently seeking enthusiastic, energetic and reliable individuals to work with our team. Candidates who are creative and dedicated, with strong communication and programming skills in a play-based, emergent environment are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications:

Diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education, and registration with the College of Early Childhood Educators (RECE) is preferred
Diploma or degree in child and youth care, recreation and leisure services, or a member in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) will be considered where applicable
Other backgrounds will be considered with relevant and appropriate experience
Must provide a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check
Able to work effectively as a team player
Enthusiasm for working with children
Good communication skills, both verbal and written
First aid with Child/Youth CPR training is required
