Truck Driver

H.C Transport Inc is a family operated, rapidly growing company and is looking to hire a Log Truck Driver for our year round operation. We are looking for a candidate that is dependable and has a good work ethic. Also must:

Communicating over two way radio your location
Operate tractor and log trailer weighing over 4500 kg in a safe and timely manner
Haul round wood from haul location to mill
Cleaning and lubricating vehicle when needed
Conducting pre-operational checks on equipment
Participating in all safety programs, training or meetings
Training on new equipment when requested
Perform daily inspections on assigned vehicle and trailer
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Perform minor maintenance when required
Perform work in a safe and efficient manner
Report any maintenance concerns to Maintenance team
Complete daily logbook and HOS
Adapt to eLogs when required
Submit paperwork to office weekly
Directly report to Haul Forman

Additionally:

Experience driving on log roads
Minimum 1 year experience driving a log truck
Camp/Accommodations will be provided when needed
Good communication skills
A positive and proactive attitude towards safety
High school diploma and/or post-secondary degree considered an asset
Transportation/travel information

Own transportation
Clean driving record
Valid Medical
Valid AZ driver’s license
