Cashier (Sioux Lookout)

As a Cashier, you will play an important role in Customer Service by providing customers with fast and friendly service.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
Ensure every item is scanned correctly
Weigh produce and bulk foods
·       Accept payments, ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate and provide a receipt to every customer

·       Redeem coupons

·       Keep paperwork organized and neat

Call for packers and price checks with the overhead page system
·       Pack purchases to ensure safe transport and separate by frozen, meat, produce and grocery

·       Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas

Answer customer questions and ensure customer has a positive shopping experience
Be aware of store promotions
Work varying shifts, including weekends
Qualifications:

·       Excellent Customer Service

·       Mature, friendly and a team player

·       Available to work varying shifts

·       High school education preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
