The role of the Events Coordinator is to work as a part of a creative team and represent 91-5 CKPR, Rock 94, and Energy 103/104 at different events in Thunder Bay. The highly outgoing, motivated, and organized Events Coordinator will work closely with and directly for the Manager of Marketing & Promotions. The ideal Event Coordinator is outgoing, enjoys a fun and fast-paced work environment, loves talking to people, and can work well in a team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Represent and execute station appearances at local events
Assist in the coordination and execution of station events and promotions
Facilitate the 91-5 CKPR Crew and Rock 94 Roadies Orientation and Training
Schedule the 91-5 CKPR Crew and Rock 94 Roadies
Assist with the supervision of the 91-5 CKPR Crew and Rock 94 Roadies
Understand the mission of each event and execute with professionalism
Take photos at events and make posts to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and station websites
Manage all event equipment (tents, banners, games, swag, etc.) including regular maintenance, organization, and cleaning
Perform on-location broadcast reports
Drive company vehicles to promotions and events
Must have a G license and transportation to and from work
Must have a flexible schedule and be available weekends/evenings/holidays
Must be proficient with social media and basic computer software
Must be able to carry up to 40lbs
Reliable and punctual
