Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Cook to join our kitchen team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, maintaining kitchen standards, and supporting daily kitchen operations in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes

Prepare specialty meals, including food for customers with allergies or intolerances

Prepare and cook meals for special events such as banquets

Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards

Requisition food and kitchen supplies as needed

Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, equipment, costs, and consumption

Inspect kitchen and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety

Clean kitchen and work areas according to health regulations

Train staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and proper food handling

Demonstrate new cooking techniques and equipment to kitchen staff
Supervision
-
May supervise or guide general kitchen staff as required
